The Old Orchard Inn has partnered with East Coast Balloon Adventures to offer you the thrilling opportunity for a hot air balloon ride over the Annapolis Valley. Old Orchard Inn is located minutes from Wolfville in the scenic Annapolis Valley, 92 kilometres northwest of Halifax.
A shuttle brings you to your pilot, who takes you on a 2.5-hour flight before sunset. You will drift silently over the region that runs along the picturesque Bay of Fundy. From the sky, you will gaze out on the landscape, catching sight of wildlife and falling for the breathtaking views of forests, lakes, and vineyards.
After drifting for approximately 45 minutes to an hour you’ll be safely back on the ground, where you will enjoy a Champagne toast with the pilot and other guests.
This opportunity costs $599 per couple (based on double occupancy) and is available until October 27, 2013 for Saturday and Sunday evenings, and until July 26, 2013 for Friday evenings. You must book at least four days prior to your flight and rebooking may be necessary if weather is unfavourble.
