Start your engine because this is the final weekend to check out the vehicles at the Canadian International AutoShow (CIAS) in Toronto.

You can always find sweet rides and cool exhibits at CIAS but one of the most popular draws by far is Auto Exotica. Visitors can see all sorts of 007-worthy vehicles  including Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche and Jaguar.

Other featured vehicles include the ’68 Camaro, ’69 Shelby GT500 Convertible and ’70 Hemi ‘Cuda. If that’s not enough to drop your jaw,  making an appearance for the first time in Ontario is the Canadian-made FELINO cB7R. This Montreal-produced supercar — reaching speeds of 345 kilometres per hour — is the only one currently in production. In total, more than 25 luxury and exotic cars will be on showcase in Auto Exotica. Ah, if only I had a larger wallet…a much larger wallet.

“Our consumer research and feedback from show patrons tells how important the luxury car market is in Toronto,” says Jason Campbell, General Manager of the AutoShow. “We have worked hard to reflect that at the AutoShow, and each year bring in some of the most stylish — and powerful — cars to be found anywhere in the world.”

Another area that will nurture your inner nerd is Castrol Alley (South Building, 700 Level) where CIAS has teamed up with the Oblivion Car and Culture Show to celebrate vehicles from the 80’s and 90’s. Here you will find the iconic DeLorean time machine from the movie ‘Back to the Future’ and KITT from the 1980s TV series ‘Knight Rider’.

The Canadian International AutoShow is not only the largest automotive expo in Canada, it is also the country’s largest consumer show — a leader in lifestyle, technology and all things automotive.
