The WinSport Winter Sport Institute at Canada Olympic Park has an Adrenaline Combo that will really get your blood pumping this summer.

Then experience the thrill of the new Summer Bobsleigh Ride. Accompanied by a professional driver, you and three friends will soar down the Olympic track, twisting and turning around 14 turns, travelling at speeds up to 100 km/h while reaching 4g forces.

Book these rides at the same time and receive a special rate of $99.

Vacay.ca Gears Up for the Stampede

There are other adrenaline-inducing events taking place in Calgary this year, including the annual Calgary Stampede from July 5-14. Jody Robbins of Vacay.ca has produced a guide to all the attractions and must-see events at the 2013 Stampede. The top draws include the opening parade, featuring Parade Marshal Chris Hadfield, Canada’s most popular astronaut, and the KISS concerts.

Robbins writes: “Time to dust off yer boots, and get ready for the annual urban cowboy extravaganza that is the Calgary Stampede. After all the hoopla surrounding last year’s centennial, the Stampede’s getting back to basics, as evidenced by this year’s theme, Stampede 101. Returning to its roots, this new century in Stampede history will focus on the land, the people and the animals that come together to make this event the greatest outdoor show on earth.”
