This historic hotel has launched the “Artist in Residence” program in conjunction with the 125th Artist in Residence Package, available all year. Each month one artist chosen by Mountain Galleries will live and paint in the hotel for one week. The artist will create work that is either inspired by or tells the story of the Fairmont Banff Springs. Each artist will work in designated areas throughout the hotel, giving guests the opportunity to watch the art come to life from the first stroke of the brush.

On the third weekend of every month, guests choosing this package will be invited to a Friday evening welcome reception and then spend Saturday in a seminar with the artist in residence.

This adults-only opportunity starts at $249 a night (based on double occupancy) and is available until Wednesday, December 25, 2013. A two-night minimum stay is required.
