Aspiring filmmakers can win a Vancouver Island Adventure Getaway and stay at an oceanside resort with their most terrifying submissions.
The contest “Five Minutes of Fear” is looking for entries of video that runs between four to 7 minutes. All submissions will be presented at Horne Lake Park’s new Cave Theatre and the public will vote for the favourite, scariest video.
The grand prize includes a stay at the luxurious Tigh-Na Mara Oceanfront Resort and tours of the Horne Lake caves.
To enter, send your name, address and 4- to 7-minute video through YouSendIt.com to reservations@hornelake.com with “Five Minutes of Fear” as your subject line.
All films will be reviewed by a pre-screening panel to ensure they are appropriate for public screening. Nudity, swearing and other hateful/offensive content or language will disqualify entries.
Entries will be accepted from until Saturday, October 29 and all submissions will be featured on the Horne Lake You-Tube channel after the public showings in the cave theatre.
