One of the most beautiful trips you can take in Canada is the frequent crossing between Vancouver and Victoria on BC Ferries. The sailing takes you through British Columbia’s spectacular Gulf Islands and across the Georgia Strait.

The ride is so popular that BC Ferries has built a vacation packages around a visit to Vancouver Island. The Delta Victoria Ocean Pointe, a superb hotel right on the city’s harbour, is the focus for a two-night summer offering that runs until September 30, 2012.

For rates starting at $259 per person, guests can stay at this exquisite property that also features an immaculate spa for two nights before heading back to the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal that provides service for Vancouver and the Lower Mainland area. The package includes round-trip ferry fare for two adults and one car, and complimentary gifts for children under 12.

Package includes:

  • Two nights’ accommodation at Delta Victoria Ocean Pointe in a ModeRoom, plus a free room upgrade to a ModeDeluxe Room
  • Round-trip on BC Ferries from Tsawwassen to Sidney (about 45 minutes north of Victoria) for two adults and one car
  • Kids under 6 eat free
  • Kids Story Time
  • Complimentary Kids Packs for children under 12.
