Boxing Day may be for savings, but New Year’s Eve is for splurging. The Little Inn of Bayfield, Ontario’s oldest continously run inn, has one extravagant package to ring in 2012. The New Year’s package includes the inn’s Dinner Dance Gala on Saturday the 31st, which features a six-course dinner and Champagne at midnight. A house band, led by Victor Bateman, provides the sophisticated entertainment for the night. In the morning, feast on a hearty country breakfast, plus hit the trails for a guided walk or snowshoe walk on the River Trails.
