You can get decked out in your fancy threads and pay a gazillion dollars to drink mediocre Champagne at a gala soiree. Or you can celebrate New Year’s Eve 2012 with a no-pretense, all-out great time on George Street. Be the first in Canada to celebrate the new year at Trapper John’s Musem n’ Pub, where you can party in St. John’s from 11 pm to 3 am for just a $10 entry fee. Hats, horns, glowsticks and finger foods will be on hand, as well as terrific tunes from Newfoundland’s favourite cover band, Redline.
