Vacay.ca Follower Recommends Black Rock Resort
Vacay.ca reader Ariane Colenbrander recently visited the Black Rock Oceanfront Resort and was so impressed by the experience she shared a marvellous review of the property on our Have Your Say page. And she has won a travel prize for her comments!
Ariane writes: “We checked into our one-bedroom suite surrounded by pools, sea, and forest. The resort connects to part of the Wild Pacific Trail in the middle of a rainforest. We enjoyed a few walks here after our breakfasts. Floor-to-ceiling windows allow full views of nature, no matter what part of the resort you’re staying in. At once we felt at peace amongst the old-growth trees, all accessible via our deck.
“The kitchen has high-quality Miele appliances and is fully stocked with a dishwasher, convection microwave, cooktop, cutlery, pots and pans, and a fridge. Fair-trade coffee can be prepared either with a coffee maker or Bodum French press (our preferred way of enjoying coffee), both there for guest use.
“Free bikes, helmets, and locks are available with a deposit. Complimentary WiFi in our room was speedy, and much appreciated as Rogers coverage is spotty around much of Ucluelet and Tofino.”
